Jonathan brings a wealth of experience in employment law and industrial relations issues in both the private and public sector.
Prior to founding Workdynamic Australia, Jonathan worked as an employment law specialist at Minter Ellison Lawyers where he provided specialist employment law advice and investigation services.
Jonathan’s reputation is built on delivering simple and practical solutions for complex problems. Jonathan’s experience spans the full gamut of workplace issues. He has assisted his clients with specialist advice on all things employment, negotiation and preparation of bespoke documents and the management of key stakeholders.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from the University of Wollongong.
He holds a current practising certificate.

Jonathan’s investigation expertise is well renowned. He has conducted and advised his clients in relation to investigations into allegations of bullying and harassment, adverse action, discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation, poor performance, misconduct and fraud.
Jonathan is also a valued provider of investigation services to the Department of Communities and Justice and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Jonathan has guided his clients in relation to high profile public inquiries dealing with corruption and fraud.

Jonathan has a keen understanding of how to manage employment issues so that businesses can achieve the best commercial outcome. Jonathan has undertaken significant stints as employment legal counsel and an industrial relations advisor with some of Australia’s largest private and public sector employers. In these roles, Jonathan has honed his commercial, strategic and practical approach.
Jonathan provides regular advice on how to best achieve workplace change – from implementing disciplinary action and cultural improvement initiatives, to carrying out major organisational changes.
DISPUTE PREVENTION AND RESOLUTION
Jonathan is committed to assisting his clients avoid the potential pitfalls of workplace management and provides a wide range of training options. This includes roundtable sessions, tailored workplace training and executive briefings on issues like workplace investigations, managing injured workers, performance management and key legal developments. Jonathan has also prepared numerous seminars for industry conferences and presented for the Law Society of New South Wales.
Jonathan is an experienced litigator and has acted for clients before specialist tribunals such as the Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales and the Australian Human Rights Commission. He has also appeared as an advocate in Courts across both the State and Federal jurisdictions.
